Kresley Cole is one of the best as she creates these characters and worlds for us to fall in love with, and in some cases, lust *wink*. Immortals After Dark is one of my top 5 series that I always make sure to keep up with and have preorders on as soon as they become available. Every addition to the series continues to be excellent and I have no fear that there will ever be a "bad" IAD book. Not only do the characters grab hold of you with their haunts and emotions, but they keep you with their humor and their suspense. Each character encountered stays with me, no matter how short their time on the page. Kresley Cole gives details in such a way that I can actually see the characters walking in their world. The fights scenes, the love scenes, and even the scenes of just conversations, they all play like a movie and that is all due to the incredible writing style of the great Kresley Cole. I also loved the shout-out to Gena Showalter and the Lords of Darkness in this story, it was an awesome touch and I'm sure that fans will smile big at that one.
